After the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Heads of State Summit held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the bilateral meetings of the leaders continue.
While the conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia have been on the agenda in recent days, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a bilateral meeting.
Stating that they are worried about the conflicts between the two countries, Putin said, “Of course, we are all very worried about the aggravation of the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border today. still nervous,” he said.
“I’M SURE WE WILL END THIS YEAR WITH THE BEST RESULTS”
Expressing that they have started to see the results of the Allied Cooperation Declaration signed between Russia and Azerbaijan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said, “We see very positive dynamics in bilateral relations. After the signing of the Allied Cooperation Declaration, important agreements were signed in various sectors and as you mentioned, “We see a significant increase in both commercial and transportation volumes. The results are clear and I am confident that we will finish this year with the best results,” he said.
On the other hand, Aliyev pointed out that the conflicts between the Armenian army and the Azerbaijani army did not escalate, indicating that both countries do not want the tension to escalate.
