North Korea says it conducted the last missile test to “eliminate the enemies”

North Korea announced that the aim of the missile test, which was carried out after the military exercise between South Korea and the United States in the region, was to “eliminate the enemies”.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced that the recent missile tests were carried out to “hit and destroy” potential South Korean and US targets.

KCNA reported that missile tests were carried out in response to the naval exercise launched by the USA and South Korea with the participation of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan.

North Korea, in its previous statement, claimed that the missile tests it carried out in the last days were “legitimate defense”.

The US, South Korea and Japan held an anti-submarine exercise in international waters adjacent to the East Sea on September 30 for the first time in the last 5 years.

It is known that the Pyongyang administration has carried out more than 20 ballistic missile tests at different ranges since the beginning of 2022, in violation of the United Nations (UN) resolutions.
