On August 9, the FBI raided Trump’s home as a result of an investigation into whether he had taken confidential records from his Florida residence during his term at the White House. The Washington Post wrote that during searches of Trump’s home, documents related to another country’s nuclear weapons information emerged.
Sources speaking to the Washington Post stated that the documents found were related to the nuclear defense of another state, but did not provide information about which country they belonged to.
“Some of the seized documents detail the top secret US operation so closely guarded that even many top national security officials are unaware of what’s on this paper,” the report said.
According to Reuters, a spokesperson for the FBI declined to comment on the report.
Raid on TRUMP’s HOUSE
Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida was searched by FBI agents on the morning of August 8.
In his written statement, Trump said, “This is a dark time for our nation. Nothing like this has ever happened to a US president before.” He had reacted to the raid with his statement.
It was recorded that Trump’s private safe was entered in the search of about 40 FBI agents, which lasted more than 9 hours, and it was reflected in the news that more than 10 boxes of evidence were collected from Mar-a-Lago.
