Who do you think is stupid? – Mehmet Tezkan

Federal Reserve Bank, The Fed increased the interest rate by 75 basis points the previous day.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey cut interest rates by 100 basis points yesterday.

Both have the same intention…

By raising the interest rate…

The other wants to fight inflation by lowering the interest rate… One believes that if he raises the interest rate, he will rein in inflation, the other believes that if he lowers the interest rate, he will cope with the inflation…

Somebody doing stupid…

Somebody throwing his people on fire…

Somebody dooms society to inflation…

Somebody doesn’t care about the cost of living…

Somebody it impoverishes its people…

Somebody making a huge mistake…

Who do you think?

FED, European Central Bank or our Central Bank Monetary Board members?

Someone is being stupid…

Is there any other explanation for this situation?

This is a first in the history of the world economy!… Dozens of countries, dozens of central banks are running in the other direction, our Central Bank is in the opposite direction…

Someone is being stupid I wouldn’t say that… Nobody should be offended, but really someone is being stupid!

The withdrawal of interest to 12 percent is also a symbol…

As you know, the Ottomans were borrowing money from the Genoese. Of course they wanted interest. Back then, there was ‘nass’…

Shaykh al-Islam Ebussuud Efendi gave the fatwa. He declared that up to 12 percent interest is not covered by ‘nass’.

Applause!… This is instrumentalizing religion…

One can’t help but wonder if the President of Religious Affairs, Erbaş, who thinks he is a Şeyhülislam, has given a fatwa that 12 percent is outside the scope of ‘nass’…

Because…

In December, they cut the interest rate to 14 percent. They slept on it for seven months. Why did they start downloading now?

Growth has slowed down, they are trying to upshift in their minds.

What did Erdogan say?

‘No leader would say that I did wrong after the man he threw’

What did Erdogan say?

‘Leaders are people who are hard to come back from the way they entered’

We meet at the bottom of the abyss, at the end of the blind well!
