PROTEST CONTINUES IN MANY DIFFERENT REGIONS

The death of Amini, who was taken to the hospital in a coma after being detained by the Irshad patrols, known as the ‘morality police’, on September 13 in Tehran, on September 16, caused outrage in the country.
After the funeral of Mahsa Amini in her hometown of Sakkız on September 17, protests started in Tehran and cities in the west of the country.
