Elephants were also used in the operation to locate the tiger. After the detection, the 3-year-old tiger was killed.
Kumar Gupta, the state’s director of wildlife conservation, stated that the operation was initiated because the tiger was considered dangerous to human life.
Gupta stated that the animal was neutralized after attempts to calm it down failed.
