According to the news of Volkan Özdemir from Habertürk; The ‘Sezen Aksu Digital Art Exhibition’, in which the life journey of Sezen Aksu is told and the creative director of Fuat Genç and the curator of Esra Özkan, was opened at X Media Art Museum by DasDas on October 4th.
FAMOUS FLOCK TO THE EXHIBITION
Mert Fırat, İdil Fırat, Cansel Elçin, Ebru Cündübeyoğlu, Özgü Kaya, Melisa Berberoğlu, Ayça İnci, Ekin Türkmen, Güliz Ayla, Yasemin Şefik, Volkan Karataş, Arda Foster, Ceren Akdağ, Gizem Erman Soysaldı, Melis Ünal, Aybüke Names like Albere showed great interest.
In this digital art exhibition that took place for the first time in Turkey through the works of a musician; visitors witness the stories created by Sezen Aksu, who grew her roots in the lands she lived in and gave a hand to many artists, in each branch of a living tree.
In the exhibition, images, videos, 3D and 2D animations on the floors and walls inside the museum are presented as part of a 25-minute experience.
Aksu’s adventure, which started with his arrival in Istanbul in the 70s, turned into a colorful musical period in the 80s, a pop era in the 90s, and a bolder stance in the 2000s. The exhibition, which is dominated by a cinematic narrative stretching from the beginning of his career to his mastery period after the 2000s, also arouses curiosity with its site-specific experience areas inside the museum.
In the exhibition, visitors will be able to leave notes to Sezen Aksu in the different ‘experience areas’ in the museum, connect from the past to the present with the ‘Augmented Reality’ exhibition, and go on a journey with Aksu’s interviews and concerts.
The ‘Sezen Aksu Digital Art Exhibition’ also includes NFT works related to the project. These works bear the signatures of important artists and designers.
“A LIVING LEGEND!”
Mert Fırat, who hosted the night, answered the questions of the journalists. Stating that they went to Sezen Aksu after they came up with the idea, Fırat said, “At first, I was afraid that it would result in a negative result, but it did not happen. We got a positive response that we would move forward together, and I was very happy. I make an analogy to a living legend like Sezen Aksu as a tree. A There are many different things in the tree and its root… He is someone who appeals to all kinds of people,” he explained the development process of the project.

Actors Özgü Kaya and Melisa Berberoğlu said, “We liked the exhibition very much. Sezen Aksu is a living legend for us as well. We grew up with her songs, and we still listen to them.”
Reporters asked the duo, “What is the secret of this good friendship between you?” also asked the question. Kaya and Berberoğlu said, “We spend time together outside of the set. We laugh a lot and have fun when we are together. Our mothers and fathers do not need to be the same to be siblings.”
