Queen Elizabeth’s death left Prince Harry hours unannounced

No Royals called Prince Harry immediately to report the Queen’s death, Page Six confirmed from multiple sources.

A senior Buckingham Palace staff member said King Charles summoned Harry to Balmoral Castle in the morning as the Queen’s health deteriorated. But as soon as the Queen died, no further search was made.

AFTER HOURS…

The announcement, made at 6:30 p.m. UK time on 8 September, stated that the Queen had died “in the afternoon”. Sources also confirmed that the Queen died before 16.30. Prince Harry, who was trying to catch up to say goodbye to his grandmother, that the Queen had died hours ago, was not notified.

According to the report by Independent Turkish,; As per royal protocol the Queen’s death can be made public after family members have been notified, King Charles called Harry about 5 minutes before the official announcement, while the Prince was still on the plane.

HE ATTENDED THE FUNERAL WITH MEGHAN

Meghan Markle, on the other hand, did not go to Balmoral Castle on September 8, but attended the mourning events and funeral in London with her husband, Prince Harry. Asked if the ice between Prince William and Prince Harry had melted after the funeral, palace staff said that the two brothers chatted at family dinners and were not offended.

On the other hand, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the US state of California, where they have lived since 2020, immediately after the funeral.
