But due to the sudden increase in construction costs, the contractors left the work in almost all of them. Construction activities were stopped in most of them. Constructions were digging the foundations. “The delivery of these 100 thousand houses in 2023 has become impossible.” said.
Altayli continued:
“And more importantly, in one of these constructions, the foundation of the 694 plus 500 residences project in our Aksaray province, which was excavated but not built, turned into a lake and a 16-year-old boy fell into this TOKİ pond last week. This is the state of the social housing project, a foundation pond that is a grave for children.
I wonder if TOKİ will take a step to finish the promised 100 thousand houses in 2019, while starting new 500 thousand houses! Does this carry the foundations beyond being a grave? Or do the opposition parties think of asking the fate of this project?
