Azerbaijan got it back after 30 years! Turkish flag unfurled

The Azerbaijani army took back the city of Lachin, which it liberated from the Armenian occupation.

As per the agreement signed by Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia on November 10, 2020, Armenia’s control of the occupied Lachin city was taken away.

VILLAGES OF SUS AND ZABUH ARE ALSO UNDER CONTROL

As part of the operation in the region, the Sus and Zabuh villages of Azerbaijan were also taken under control.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a written statement on the subject.

“WE ARE HAPPY”

The statement included the following:

“We are pleased that the city of Lachin and the villages of Zabuh and Sus have been returned to Azerbaijan today within the scope of the ongoing process in line with the issues expressed in the Tripartite Declaration of 9 November 2020. This development, which constitutes a significant step towards establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus, We hope that it will contribute to regional normalization as well as Azerbaijan-Armenia relations. Turkey will continue to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of brotherly Azerbaijan, as it has done so far.”

The Azerbaijani flag was planted at the entrance and various parts of the city by the soldiers.

TURKISH FLAG UNLOADED

On the other hand, Azerbaijan Special Forces personnel unfurled the Turkish flag in the region and said, “You have seen the power of the Turk. You will see it from now on.”

“LONG LIVE AZERBAIJAN”

In the footage, the commander of the soldiers entering the city, addressing President Ilham Aliyev in front of the flag-hung building, “Dear Commander-in-Chief, the Azerbaijani army took the city of Lachin and the villages of Zabuh and Sus under full control. Long live Azerbaijan. Long live Azerbaijan. Long live the Commander-in-Chief. ” used the phrases.

CITY OF LAÇIN

Following the Second Karabakh War, according to the tripartite declaration signed between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on November 10, 2020, Armenians living in Lachin and some villages in Karabakh were to leave the area where they settled illegally at the end of August. With the departure of the Armenian population and the temporary Russian troops in the region, the control of the city passed to Azerbaijan.
