ANKARA – CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to the statement made by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan about his return to Ukraine on his social media account.
Recalling Kılıçdaroğlu’s words, “We do not even have the voter information in the Supreme Election Board,” Erdoğan answered the question, “Do you believe these statements of Kılıçdaroğlu? The man’s life is a lie. Not because you know anything. Of course, in my opinion, the President of the YSK and his team should bring this to the judiciary. He must now make this man pay by taking it to court. Sometimes it attacks prosecutors, sometimes it attacks judges. But for some reason they are hesitant, afraid. You are guaranteed by the Constitution. In the Constitution, it says, ‘Absolutely, such statements cannot be made to the judiciary’. I hope that in 2023, my nation will teach this lesson once again at the ballot box.”
Reacting to these words of Erdogan, CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Erdogan said, ‘Kılıçdaroğlu sometimes attacks prosecutors and sometimes judges. But for some reason they are hesitant,’ he said. Is that why you changed the judges of our cases? And you’re going to make me pay. You can’t make this nation pay any price anymore. No one should be afraid.” (NEWS CENTER)
