RUSSIA IS BURNING NATURAL GAS TO GO TO EU
It turned out that while Europe was experiencing one of the deepest energy crises in its history, Russia burned millions of cubic meters of natural gas every day. Satellite images of a facility located close to the Finnish border prompted experts. Experts examined the images and the heat map around the facility operated by the Russian energy giant Gazprom. He calculated that an average of $10 million worth of natural gas was burned per day at the facility called Portovaya. The company named Rystad Energy, which was the first to make the detection, announced that 9,000 tons of carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere per day due to the burning of natural gas. It was noted that this rate is more than the one-year oscillation of an average of 1,100 households.
