class=”medianet-inline-adv”>

They are the ones who bring the power of social media to the screen… Thanks to the fans formed in a short time, they became one of the most talked about screen couples of this season. When this is the case, it becomes more difficult to reach them. Their sets are so busy, we’re finally getting together after two weeks of trying to get the shooting date to date. 23 year old Rabia Soyturk reflects the energy of its youth outside. It’s both beautiful and naive. new to 25 Caner Topcu a little more calmly, he describes himself as “I am a person who has a positive outlook on life”. We start the conversation with the duo…

*You are being talked about a lot on social media these days. But there is very little information about you on the internet. Let’s get to know you a little…
Rabia Soytürk: I am 23 years old. I am originally from Trabzon, but I was born and raised in Istanbul. My mother runs a beauty salon, and my father owns a grocery store. We are two brothers, I have a younger brother. By the way, my mother is a very strong woman, I can’t help but say.
Caner Topçu: I am from Kastamonu, I was born and raised in Istanbul. My father is a furniture maker, my mother is a housewife. We are three siblings, I am the middle one, I turned 25.

*Were you children who have been posing in front of the mirror since childhood, with a comb in their hand, or are you one of those who say, ‘I watched a movie, my life has changed’?
Rabia Soytürk: When I was a child, I wanted to study dance, a friend of mine was going to secondary school, I was inspired by him. My mother said, “You can’t dance, I’ll put you in the theater”. I started as a hobby to get rid of my energy. By the way, I always had the small camera at home, I used to dress everyone, I would shoot at home or something. Then I continued my theater education with the school. I made children’s games for one year at Sadri Alışık and one year at Craft. My first job was ‘Personality’ when I was 17. Think about it, my mother signed the contract because I was not yet old. I continued with works such as ‘Gülperi’, ‘My Name is Melek’, ‘Alparslan the Great Seljuk’.

*How did Caner start for you?
Caner Topçu: In the first year of high school, they set up a stand for the cinema-theatre course of Sancaktepe Municipality. I had a friend named Fatih, we filled out a form there in case we could slack off from the lessons. They got back to us. Three weeks later, Fatih left that course, and I continued for five years. During this period a lot film I watched. Then I received training in front of the camera. My first job in 2019 was ‘Watch’, then ‘Barbaroslar’ and now ‘Hear Me’.

*You are in the lead role for the first time. What was it like to be a lead actor?
Caner Topçu: It’s a little scary, but this effort is very exciting.
Rabia Soytürk: I am not afraid, but of course he has a high responsibility. I wonder if I stumble, the anxiety can eat a person from the inside.
Caner Topçu: On the other hand, this is your job, what are you going to do (laughs).

*How do you think you became partners?
Rabia Soytürk: I am very happy with you, Caner, I love you very much. Very classic sentences are used, but I get a different energy from Caner. Our communication is very good, I can explain my problem to him very easily. I already felt it in our first test shoot.
Caner Topçu: Rabia actually said everything. That harmony is a very interesting thing, especially in television works, I feel it is passed on to the audience. Working with Rabia and her energy is very nice.

*Is there anything that you are annoyed with each other?
Rabia Soytürk: We try to be annoyed with each other, but it doesn’t work.

*The series ‘Hear Me’ was very popular. But there was also a lot of talk about the bullying scenes among the students. What are you thinking?
Caner Topçu: These are things that happen in real life. Unfortunately, there are people who are bullied and there are people who are bullied. It has no age.
Rabia Soytürk: Unlike some other jobs, we tell you what the result might be when this is done, and that you shouldn’t do such a thing.

* Have you ever been bullied or bullied in your own life?
Rabia Soytürk: I was neither, I reached out to those who were bullied.
Caner Topçu: I had a bit of a vagrant side in my high school days. I’ve never been bullied, but I’ve been heartbroken. Looking at it now, in the end, this is also bullying in my opinion. Because even the smallest thing can affect people’s psychology, it stays with the person.

I color people in my head, Caner’s color is white

*Both of you were born in the 90’s, how would you describe your generation?
Caner Topçu: I’m 97. My generation has nothing to do with the current generation. My brother is 14 years old. We are very different. In our time, there was more neighborhood culture, we used to play games on the street, ride bikes and do activities. I don’t see that in current generations. They live everything digitally. Yes, they are smarter, they see and learn many things from there, but they are also deprived of their childhood.
Rabia Soytürk: A very beautiful generation, the 90s; songs, movies… I feel like I was born in a generation with the right energy. Feels like I wouldn’t be Rabia if I was born in the 80s.

* How would you describe yourself to someone who doesn’t know you at all?
Rabia Soytürk: When you look at me, you feel like you are looking in a mirror. You can’t lie when you look in the mirror.
Caner Topçu: I am someone who has a positive outlook on life.
Rabia Soytürk: Caner is a very white person. I color people in my head. For example, you are a yellow person.

*Did you say something good?
Rabia Soytürk: There are emojis that yellow reflects on me. The energy I get from you is sun, light, always positive. White in Caner. He is a very soft person with his mimics, movements, voice and reactions. Dust can also be put in, it can be dirty, but; she needs attention.

*So, what is the most important lesson you have learned from life so far?
Caner Topçu: I think that people should be treated humanely, and this is my biggest lesson. I’ve been like this my whole life, and I want to keep it that way.
Rabia Soytürk: My biggest lesson is that I should love myself the most. I am a self-loving person, but I met some people, some friendships, and I forgot to love myself. I learned a lot from these and learned not to forget myself again.

* What was your biggest breaking moment?
Caner Topçu: Getting out of my antisocial life and meeting the theater. It’s a different life.
Rabia Soytürk: I had a health problem when I was 12 years old, I had meningitis. I was in intensive care.
It’s been my time of breaking, healing, and indeed raising awareness. I became conscious early, the value I gave to myself and people increased.

* If you had to give yourself a warning, what would you say?
Caner Topçu: I used to warn everyone, ‘Don’t be too nice’.
Rabia Soytürk: I used to say, ‘Lie a little bit’.
*What do you think is the biggest misinformation about you?
Rabia Soytürk: They think I have a face transplant (laughs). They’re juxtaposing my 6-year-old photos with make-up and set photos.

* Do you have aesthetics?
Rabia Soytürk: I had plastic surgery at a young age because I had a bone in my nose. Otherwise, there are no eyes, cheeks, lips or anything like that. Our lip size comes from family. In fact, if they look at my brother and father, they will understand… Because their lips are like mine. Sometimes I lose weight, sometimes I gain weight. As a result, my lips can become more prominent. Even my mother is very upset about this incident. “I gave birth, I know, I want to answer,” he says from time to time. Of course I’m stopping it. Because I know the truth, I don’t care that much about what is written…

You won’t be bored if you follow me, I won’t bother you

*What does acting mean to you right now?
Rabia Soytürk: Acting is like a step or ladder for me. If you want, you can use it as a very long ladder and go up, or you can go up the short ladder if you want. You can even choose the elevator. I prefer the long and slow stairs,
following the step-by-step path…
Caner Topçu: For me, it started as a hobby, something that I dreamed about and turned into my profession. I enjoy it very much and I am extremely happy to do this job. I put a lot of effort, I put in a lot of effort and now I’m getting paid for it, I want it to be even better. My dream is to achieve something abroad.

*Why should we follow you, how do you differentiate from your competitors?
Rabia Soytürk: If you watch me, you won’t be bored, I won’t bother you…
Caner Topçu: There are so many events like in this series today, I believe everyone who watches will find something for themselves. Our aim is to raise awareness among people.

– Love can arise from opposite poles
– I’m looking for harmony in a relationship

* They actually attribute their series partners. Some even come true. Is there such a possibility for you?
Rabia Soytürk: None (laughs).
Caner Topçu: We are very good friends.

* You play two opposite characters. Do opposite poles attract?
Rabia Soytürk: Opposites arouse curiosity, but now I am looking for harmony in a relationship. Life is hard, and the person who will come into my life should not force me.
Caner Topçu: It looks sweet to me.
Rabia Soytürk: I am not affected anymore. Vagrants, macho men or something, I can’t stand it. Be a calm and peaceful person.
Caner Topçu: I think love can arise from opposite poles.

*Which is worse: never falling in love or every love ending badly?
Rabia Soytürk: Not to fall in love.
Caner Topçu: It always ends badly.

I’m so scared, you’re on the screen of 1 million people

*Does fame scare you?
Caner Topçu: Thanks to them, they love the series, so they follow us, but it scared me a little when they messaged everyone, including my best friend. Photos that I did not know and did not remember appeared. I say where I had it taken, but they find it. These are scary things.
Rabia Soytürk: I am afraid of the word fame, but I am not living it right now, I do not see myself there.
So I am in a comfortable, comfortable place; I’m not tense.

*You are very popular on social media. How are you with social media?
Caner Topçu: It sucks. Even my Twitter got involved with it. I’m not a big fan of social media. Thanks to my manager, I am trying to activate myself in that area a little more. Actually, it started after the theatre. Afterwards, I had a distance from online games, mobile phones, technology. For example, when I download a game, it says “Oh nice”, and two days later I delete it by saying “What is the need”.
Rabia Soytürk: I don’t have a problem, especially at the moment I’m taking extra care. I send funny videos to my friends.

*Do you have a fake account?
Rabia Soytürk: I have two; one more corporate, one more individual.
*Are you using it to ‘stalk’ someone you like?
Rabia Soytürk: If I like it very much, I will check it out from my own account. But there are people who are also examined from fake accounts (laughs).

*Who did you ‘stalk’ last?
Rabia Soytürk: My girlfriend is offended. I’m watching what he’s doing.
*Caner, your 30 thousand followers have become 1.5 million with this series. Rabia, yours is also 1.9 million. Is this scary?
Caner Topçu: I am very scared, you are on the screen of 1 million people.
Rabia Soytürk: I could not perceive it, it developed very quickly.

* What kind of reactions do you get outside?
Caner Topçu: Yesterday, a lady said that she was 49 years old and that she was watching youth work for the first time. I like watching them. The reactions are nice, but they are a little afraid of me; I’m playing the cold boy…

*Does he look like you in that respect?
Caner Topçu: I am not cold, I am calm.
Rabia Soytürk: I look like Ekin’s character. He would be my close friend.
