Kremlin Spokesperson Peskov, in a statement regarding the attacks in Ukraine, said, “All these are within the scope of a special military operation. Of course, important parts of the operation are not carried out without notifying the commander-in-chief.”

Peskov also stated that Russian President Putin and President Erdogan could meet at the security summit in Kazakhstan.

“Putin and Erdogan can discuss Turkey’s offer to host the Russia-Ukraine meeting,” Peskov said in his statement.

EXPLOSION ON KERCH BRIDGE

It was stated that Russia’s attacks in Kiev were in retaliation for the explosion on the Kerch Bridge.

On Saturday, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge in Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.

The first statement about the explosion from the Kerch Bridge came from Ukraine, and the Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Podolyak said on Twitter: “Crimea, the bridge, it’s just the beginning. Everything illegal must be destroyed, everything stolen must be returned to Ukraine, Russia Everything occupied must be deported,” he said.
