The promotion sector, which represents a market of approximately 5 billion dollars from electronic accessories to pen, from hats to wallets, started to attract more and more investors from in. Mehmet Ycetrk, Minister of the Board of Directors of the Promotional Products Manufacturers and Sellers Association (PROMOTRK), said that the people who learned Turkey’s ‘fast delivery’ advantage, started production in partnership. Ycetrk said, “Some established partnerships with our members. They also plan to cover the distance with Europe through production in Turkey. In this way, over 10 prominent investors came.”
TARGET $500 MILLION
According to the news of Akam Newspaper, Ycetrk said, “The value of our geographical location and logistics opportunities has been revealed during the pandemic. We offer great comfort for transportation and foreign buyers. Our production capacity is not bad either. Our quality of workmanship and ‘early delivery’ opportunity give us a great advantage.” Stating that they currently have 350 members, Ycetrk said, “The annual export of the sector is between 250-300 million dollars. Our target is to capture 500 million dollars.” Reminding that Turkey’s promotional market was 80 percent imported for a period, Ycetrk said, “This rate is decreasing rapidly. Imports were also generally made from China. Now Europe and the USA are turning to supply from Turkey. We are also buying to seize this opportunity.” Stating that his own company exports to more than 100 countries, Ycetrk said that they established the second factory in Adyaman with an investment of 50 million TL. Ycetrk also pointed out that this factory is the largest facility in the Middle East and the Balkans in its field.

Ycetrk stated that as a non-governmental organization of the sector, they first established their own fair companies and said, “We will now organize the fair ourselves. We had Promotion Show and Promotrk fairs before. We bought another fair from Sky Fair and combined the two. Istanbul Fair between 28 September-1 October. We will hold our Promotion Show Istanbul fair with the participation of 120 companies in its center.”
