According to the statistics on Complaintvar.com, a website where users present their experiences and complaints, the sectors that received the most complaints in 2021 and 2022 have been determined.
THE SECTOR WITH THE MOST COMPLAINTS IN 2021 WAS THE E-COMMERCE SECTOR
With 415 thousand 145 complaints, the e-commerce sector was the sector that received the most complaints in 2021. The e-commerce sector was followed by the finance sector with 322 thousand 523 complaints. Internet (262 thousand 385), cargo transportation (221 thousand 862) and shopping & retail (155 thousand 694) sectors stood out as the most complained sectors in Turkey.
LOOKING AT THE NUMBERS IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2022, THE SECTOR WITH THE MOST COMPLAINTS HAS NOT CHANGED AGAIN: E-COMMERCE
In the first six months of 2022, the e-commerce sector was the sector that received the most complaints in the first six months of 2022, with 193,763 complaints. The e-commerce sector was followed by the finance sector with 161,351 complaints. Communication (115 thousand 557), internet (93 thousand 543) and cargo (87 thousand 71) were recorded as the sectors complained about in the first six months.
Looking at the branches of the e-commerce sector, it was noted that marketplace sites, food sites and grocery shopping sites were the most frequently complained categories in this area.
In the financial sector, which is another sector with the most complaints in the first 6 months of 2022, private and public banks were recorded as the categories where consumers had problems.
MOST COMPLAINTS ARE MADE FROM ISTANBUL
According to the population average, in the first 6 months of 2022, Muş was the city with the lowest complaint density with 1.25 per thousand. Adiyaman, Hakkari and Kars followed Muş, respectively. According to Complaintvar data, Istanbul was the most complaining province in Turkey with 56.9 complaints per thousand people.
