Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.
Accordingly, as of August 5, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 6 billion 668 million dollars to 67 billion 769 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 61 billion 101 million dollars on 29 July.
In the said period, gold reserves increased by 705 million dollars from 40 billion 163 million dollars to 40 billion 868 million dollars.
Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves increased from 101 billion 263 million dollars to 108 billion 637 million dollars in the week of August 5, with an increase of 7 billion 374 million dollars compared to the previous week.
