Pakistan gave a protest note to New Delhi over the murder of Pakistani prisoner in Jammu and Kashmir region of India.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, it was stated that a protest note was given to the senior Indian diplomat who was summoned to the ministry.

In the statement, it was emphasized that “extrajudicial execution” was applied to Pakistani prisoner Mohammed Ali Hussein and that Hussein was killed by Indian forces in “a fake shootout”.

Pointing out that the story about Hussein’s death was misleading, the statement asked New Delhi to provide details of the incident and a credible autopsy report on the cause of death.

The statement also highlighted concerns about the safety of 461 Pakistani prisoners.

Hussein has been in Kot Bhaval Prison in Jammu Kashmir since 2006. In the news that NDTV television based on the Indian authorities, it was stated that Hussein stole a policeman’s gun and was shot dead while trying to escape from the border between the two countries.
