PACE declared Russia a terrorist regime: CHP’s Çeviköz abstained

ANKARA – The Parliamentary Meeting of the Council of Europe (PACE) took a call declaring Russia, which is in battle with Ukraine, a “terrorist regime” and have become the primary worldwide establishment to take action.

Condemning Russia’s assault on Ukraine, the PACE referred to as for solidarity with Ukraine and argued that Russia’s annexation of 4 areas in japanese Ukraine because of a referendum was not legit.

Whereas 99 of the 100 parliamentarians who participated within the voting voted in favor of the decision, solely the CHP Deputy Chairman and Istanbul Deputy, retired ambassador Ünal Çeviköz, abstained.

AK Get together Diyarbakır Deputy Mehdi Eker, Eskişehir Deputy Emine Nur Günay, Antalya Deputy Sena Nur Çelik and IYI Get together Mersin Deputy Zeki Hakan Sıdalı supported the choice calling Russia a “terrorist regime” and voted in help of it.

CHP’s Çeviköz, who abstained from the choice and voted on this route, shared on his social media account, “It was a really complicated report. Not one of the adjustments got here our method.
