Missile attack on Russian Wagner base: Dozens of dead

On the 174th day of the Ukraine-Russia war, clashes intensified in Luhansk in the east of the country.

The location of the base was deciphered with the visit of a pro-Kremlin journalist.

In Donbas, the base belonging to Russian Wagner mercenaries was hit by Ukraine.

Russian journalist Sergei Sreda, known for his pro-Kremlin posts, visited the Wagner group’s base in Popasna last week.

The Ukrainian army announced that the location of the base was determined thanks to many photos shared by Sreda, and that the area was targeted with US-made HIMARS rockets.

It is reported that 100 Wagner mercenaries were killed in the attack.

SIMILAR STATEMENT FROM MOSCOW

A similar attack statement came from Moscow.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that pro-Ukrainian foreign fighters from Poland and Germany were shot down in the Kharkov region.

It was stated that at least 100 fighters were killed and more than 50 were injured in the attack carried out with Iskander missiles.

It was claimed that more than 400 casualties were inflicted on the Ukrainian army in the Kherson and Donetsk region.

In the bombardment of the Donetsk region of Russia, many civilian settlements were targeted by rockets and artillery shells.

In Slovyansk, infrastructure was damaged, while civilian casualties were reported.

Ukraine’s defense ministry, on the other hand, announced that 10 ammunition depots belonging to Russia were hit in the last week.
