Last minute: Russian passenger caught with prohibited drugs

During the searches made in the suitcase of the Russian passenger who came to Istanbul Airport to go to Germany, cancer drugs, which were banned from going abroad by the Ministry of Health, and fake residence papers were seized.

According to the news of DHA, Russian national MA, who came to Istanbul Airport the previous day to go to Germany, came to the security point to enter the terminal.

15 FAKE SESSION CARD STOCKED

During the checks made here, the security guards detected a large number of drugs in MA’s suitcase.

Thereupon, the security officers reported the situation to the Istanbul Airport Police Department teams.

DETENTION

During the detailed suitcase search of the passenger, 1,350 film-coated cancer and antidepressant drugs, which were banned from going abroad by the Ministry of Health, which were obtained from Turkey by the police, 15 fake residence cards issued for countries such as Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark and Germany, and 4 laptops were seized.

It was learned that M.A, who was taken into custody, was handed over to the immigration administration to be deported.
