Making a statement regarding Russia’s recent attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Dnipropetrovsk Governor Valentyn Reznichenko said, “In the city of Nikopol, 13 people were killed and 11 were injured by the Russian army. The enemy hit the area twice with Grad MLRS multi-barrel rocket launchers. In addition, 80 rocket launchers were launched. People were in their homes. “While we were sleeping, the enemy carried out a deliberate and sneaky attack. Marhanets and Myrove are under fire. 10 people were killed and 11 injured in Marhanka.”
Reznichenko also said that many buildings in the city were targeted, “More than 20 apartments, an administrative service center, a cultural center, a dormitory, 2 schools, the city council building and many structures were destroyed. Power lines are down. Electricity is not available to most of the people of Marhanets. “Emergency teams are working,” he said.
