LAST MINUTE: 12 Giant Men won differently against Poland

Last minute news! A National Men’s Basketball Team defeated Poland 94-78 in the preparatory tournament held at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.

Turkey, which took the lead with Cedi Osman’s 3 points, gained a 15-9 advantage in the first 5 minutes with the points of Şehmus Hazer and Ercan Osmani. Poland’s points also came in free throws.

After the television break, Onurlap Bitim’s 3 points and Furkan Korkmaz and Ercan Osmani’s points scored an 8-point difference towards the end of the period. The first period ended with Turkey’s 26-18 superiority.

Turkey managed to increase the gap up to 10 points again in the match where there were mutual numbers on the return of the timeout. In the last episode, Turkey increased the gap to 16: 81-65. After the break, Poland’s efforts to dissolve the gap were fruitless with Turkey’s good game. Continuing to play comfortably, Turkey managed to win the match with a score of 94-78, even though the opposing team scored 3 points.

On the other hand, at the end of the third period of the match, the players and technical team of the Turkish Under-18 Basketball National Team, which came second in Europe, were called to the field. The fans and the Turkish National Basketball Team congratulated the silver medalist national team with applause.
