Australian reality show star Belinda ‘Love’ Rygier talked about her struggle with sex addiction.
‘You’re a Grub Mate!’ Rygier, who was a guest on the radio show named “I’m not ashamed of my past,” said that she has been with more than 700 men and that at one point her addiction ” took control of her life”.
Rygier, 37, who stated that dating apps were not popular yet when he was struggling with sex addiction, so he went to nightclubs to find someone to sleep with 6 days a week, said, “I didn’t realize I had a problem until I got better.”
“Relationship guru” Rygier, who joined The Bachelor in 2017 and became famous for this program, said, “When I recovered, I thought an unhealed trauma from my past had caused my sex addiction. My addiction controlled my life, but I was a functioning addict; I had a very good career. On the surface, my problem was not obvious. ‘ he said.
“Men were telling me what they wanted to hear. It was more about having sex than it was to feel beautiful, validated and loved,” Rygier said.
Rygier said it’s been 8 years since he overcame his addiction and he hasn’t been with anyone for 15 months.
