Iran announces autopsy report of Mahsa Amini

Regarding the death of Mahsa Amini, who died after being detained by morality police in Iran, the Iranian Forensic Medicine Institute made a statement regarding the cause of death. Based on hospital documents, brain and lung scans, autopsy results and pathology tests, the report suggested that Mahsa Amini died not from blows to the head and limbs, but from multiple organ failure caused by brain hypoxia.

HIS FAMILY STRESSED THAT HE HAS NO HEALTH PROBLEMS.

In the report, it was said that Amini, who died at the age of 22, had brain surgery at the age of 8, resulting in adrenaline and thyroid disorders in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland of the brain.

It was reported that the young woman used hydrocortisone, levothyroxine and desmopressin drugs for this reason.

The report, which noted that Mahsa Amini fell ill while in custody due to his ‘underlying diseases’, states, “He was exposed to severe hypoxia due to ineffective cardiac-respiratory resuscitation in the first critical minutes, resulting in brain damage.”

Mahsa Amini’s family said that their daughter did not have any health problems.

DEATH OF MAHSA AMIN

Mahsa Amini was taken to the police station by the Irshad patrols, known as the ‘morality police’, in the capital Tehran, where she came to visit from her hometown of Sakkız, on 13 September, on the grounds that she “did not comply with the headscarf rules”.

Amini, who was taken to the hospital with a sudden fall in the police station, died 3 days later on September 16.

In the statement made by the Tehran Police, it was stated that the Irshad patrol took Amini to the police station for a one-hour ‘briefing’, and the young woman was transferred to the hospital after she suddenly lost consciousness and suffered from heart disease.

IT HAS BEEN STATED BY THE POLICE

Activists, on the other hand, denied the police’s claim that he had lost consciousness ‘suddenly’ and stated that Amini had been beaten by the police.

After the allegations, Iranian state television broadcast the footage of the young woman being brought to the police station and in the police station. In the footage, it was seen that Amini, who was brought to the police station with other women, suddenly fell ill after talking to a woman in charge.
