Pixels are getting bigger
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, this year iPhone 14 Pro models will have a new ultra-wide lens with larger pixels.
The new ultra-wide-angle lens, which we will see on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models, will come with a larger sensor. In this way, the camera will capture more detail and light in low light conditions.
The new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will feature a 48-megapixel main camera that allows 8K video capture.
Camera cost will increase
According to Kuo, the cost on the camera side will increase by 70 percent with the new components added. The ultra-wide-angle camera components in the iPhone 14 Pro models will be supplied by Sony, Minebea, VCM, Largan and LG Innotek.
