Global Sentiment report: Turkey in the top three in the world in anger, stress and sadness

In a survey conducted among 100 countries around the world, it was revealed that Turkey is the most angry country in Europe. In the study, where Lebanon ranked first in the world, Finland was the calmest country.

Interesting results emerged in the Gallup research company’s Global Sentiment Report, which covers 100 countries. In the study, one thousand people over the age of 15 from each country were asked over the phone or face-to-face about their emotional state of the previous day.

According to the rate of those who felt angry the previous day, Lebanon ranked first with 49 percent, and Turkey came second with 48 percent. These two countries were followed by Armenia and Iraq with 46 percent and Afghanistan with 41 percent.

It was determined that the country with the least feeling of anger the previous day was Finland with 5 percent. This country was followed by Mauritians and Estonians with 6 percent, Portuguese and Dutch with 8 percent. Turkey was the most angry country in Europe in this ranking.

Those who feel the most ‘sadness’ in the world: Turkey 3.

Turkey ranked 3rd in the list of those who experienced the feeling of sadness the day before the survey. Afghanistan ranked first with 61 percent, while Lebanon ranked second with 56 percent and Turkey third with 49 percent. The countries with the least sadness were listed as Kosovo, Taiwan and Singapore.

Similar results were obtained in the study with regard to stress. In this sense, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Turkey took the first three places in the world, respectively.

Turkey is the 3rd country in the world that tastes the sense of pleasure the least.

Turkey lagged behind in the ratio of those who experienced the feeling of ‘pleasure’ the previous day. Iceland and Paraguayans were the ones who tasted the feeling of pleasure the most with 89 percent. Turkey, on the other hand, was recorded as the country that experienced the feeling of pleasure the least after Afghanistan and Lebanon.

Accordingly, the rate of those who enjoyed the previous day was 20 percent in Afghanistan and Lebanon, and 33 percent in Turkey.

‘Did you laugh a lot yesterday?’ given to the question in the answers On the other hand, Turkey, with 36 percent, was the country with the lowest number of positive answers to this question, after Afghanistan. Lebanon also came in third in this ranking.

It was determined that the citizens of the countries who laughed the most were Honduras, Indonesia and Panama.
