FETO affiliated college locked down

The Albanian Council of Ministers decided to close the “Mehmet Akif Ersoy College” affiliated to the Gülistan Foundation, which is known for its closeness to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) operating in the country.

The decision to close the college in Tirana, taken at today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, was also published on the Albanian government’s website.

It was reported that the decision was taken upon the recommendation of the Albanian Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi.

Accordingly, the closed school; For transfer to another school, each child has to provide the necessary documents, cover all transfer fees, refund the payments made, fulfill other unfulfilled obligations towards the students, and hand over all the documents he has to the Albanian State Archive.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy College, which received its license in August 1996 to provide high school education, was operating as an institution affiliated to the Gülistan Foundation, which is known in the country for its closeness to FETO.

The Albanian authorities also stopped the work of the “Zübeyde Hanım” private kindergarten in Tirana, which is affiliated with the FETO affiliated company “Turgut Ozal Education” on the same day.
