2 dead bodies found in suitcase bought at auction

In New Zealand, the bodies of two children were found in suitcases bought by a family from an auction.

A family has participated in an online auction for items from abandoned warehouses, law enforcement official Tofilau Faamanuia Vaaelua said in a press release in Auckland.

Noting that the personal items and household items purchased at the auction were received by the family last week, Vaaelua stated that there were 2 suitcases of similar sizes among the items, and that the lifeless bodies of 2 children were found inside the suitcases.

Vaaelua explained that the two boys, ages 5 to 10, died a few years ago, and they think the suitcase has been in storage for at least 3 or 4 years.

Stating that where, when and how the children died during the identification studies, Vaaelua said that the issue was conveyed to INTERPOL (International Police Organization).

Vaaelua noted that the murder investigation into the incident was carried out meticulously.

Noting that the teams are working to find those involved in the death of the children, Vaaelua pointed out that this issue is also difficult for them.

Vaaelua expressed that the task regarding the current situation is quite difficult, no matter how many years she has been dealing with such terrible events.
