In the statement, it was stated that there were no clear rules regarding the use of masks in the tournament, and the players did not remove their masks when the match started, “Understanding that playing with masks in the second half of the first set would be bad for the health of the players, we told the players to remove their masks and play the rest of the match without masks.”
