Caught monkeypox: His life has turned into a nightmare

A 40-year-old man in Germany contracted the African monkeypox virus after he tested positive for HIV. The man, who was in severe pain, began to rot over time. The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated.

A 40-year-old man in Germany thought he had sunburn and went to the hospital to show the doctor the red spot on his nose. However, within three days, the skin on the man’s nose began to die and turn black. The man in severe pain had a bruised nose.

According to the news on Mynet, the 40-year-old man had white pus-filled spots all over his body and mouth. As a result of the test, it was revealed that he had monkeypox disease. The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated.

HE IS HIV CARRIER

The unnamed patient turned out to have undiagnosed HIV. He told paramedics that he had never been tested for a sexually transmitted infection (STI) before.

NOSE IS NOT FULLY FIXED

However, his nose was only ‘partially improved’. Doctors explained that his case had become very severe as untreated HIV suppressed his immune system and put him at risk of further necrosis.
