Bad news for those who take screenshots on WhatsApp

Expressing that it attaches importance to privacy, social media application WhatsApp added new privacy features such as self-destructing timed messages, end-to-end encrypted backups, 2-step verification, blocking and reporting unwanted chats to the application to provide security.

WhatsApp has added 3 new features to the application. These features include silently leaving groups, choosing who can see you when you’re online, and preventing screenshots for once viewed messages.

HERE ARE NEW FEATURES EXPECTED TO COMING TO WHATSAPP:

1- Quietly leaving groups: It is a feature that will allow you to sneak out of a group without the members of the group you are in. With this feature, when leaving groups, notifications will be sent only to the administrators instead of the entire group. The feature is expected to be available to all users starting this month.

2- Choosing who can see when online: In case of online appearance, who can see the user “online” or not will be selected. It was stated that the feature will be available to all users this month.

3- Preventing screenshots for once viewed messages: Used to share photos or media that do not need a permanent digital recording. “View Once” has a feature. It was stated that taking screenshots of this data will be prevented. It is stated that this feature is currently in the testing phase.
