After the dance footage, Finnish Prime Minister Marin had a drug test

Marin, at a press conference, announced that he had a drug test for “legal protection”.

Noting that the results will be out in a week, Marin emphasized that he drank alcohol with his friends and stated that he did not use drugs.

While advocating for her to have fun at the party, Marin said she didn’t have a formal meeting at the weekend, just spent some time with her friends and didn’t do anything illegal. Expressing that the public’s thoughts about the dance images are the people’s decision, Marin said, “It should be accepted that sometimes decision makers dance, sing and party.”

MARIN’S NEW DANCE VIDEO IS RELEASED

On the other hand, new images of Prime Minister Marin dancing with a man have also been leaked.

The new video, which spread on social media, was also on the world agenda. No separate explanation was made for these images.

VICTORIES DIVIDED THE COUNTRY IN TWO

Videos of Prime Minister Marin having fun with Finnish celebrities, including MP Ilmari Nurminen and media presenter Tinni Wikström, were published on social media. Finnish MP Mikko Karna from the Center Party, Marin’s coalition partner, called on Marin to take a drug test and announce the results to the public, on his Twitter account.

The leaked footage sparked controversy on social media, with some criticizing Marin for acting irresponsibly, while others argued that it boosted the 36-year-old prime minister’s popularity.

Marin was also the target of criticism last December for spending a night out while he was supposed to isolate himself shortly after a colleague he was in contact with tested positive for COVID-19.

HE WAS THE WORLD’S YOUTHEST PRIME MINISTER

After Prime Minister Antti Rinne resigned in Finland in December 2019 due to the loss of support from government partners, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Sanna Marin became the prime minister of the new government.

After the new government was formed and approved by the president, Marin, who was 34 at the time, surpassed the 35-year-old Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, who held the title of the youngest prime minister in the world.
