The note on the Queen’s coffin revealed

Britain’s longest reigning monarch, who died on September 8, was Queen II. Elizabeth was sent off on her last journey.

Afterwards, the owner of that note and wreath was the new King III. It turned out to be Charles.

King III. Charles’ note, addressed to the Queen, read “In her memory full of love and devotion. Charles R”. The R in the note is known as an abbreviation for King.

Queen Elizabeth left a special wreath and wrote a note on her coffin during the funeral of Prince Philip, who died in 2021.

The Queen had bid farewell to her 73-year-old wife with the note ‘Lilibet who loves you’ specially attached to the coffin.
