APE the Book by Guy Kawasaki and Shawn Welch is a book about how to write, publish and market your own book. While Guy and Shawn are busy with the entrepreneur part of this book, they’ve started a Google+ community for authors, publishers, and entrepreneurs to discuss writing, publishing, editing, and marketing books.
While this diverse group of writers is at varying stages in their writing process, Guy and Shawn thought it would be great to personally help five of these writers with their books and asked interested people to put their name in the hat. Five authors and their books will be introduced! The critique for each book will consist of analyzing:
1. The title and subtitle of the book
2. Cover design
3. Book description
The full critique with each of the authors and their books will be done on a live Google+ Hangout on Air on Wednesday, January 30th at 10 pm EST/7 pm PST to give the writers a chance to ask questions and get the most from this book makeover.
