In Iran, a 22-year-old woman named Mahsa Amini, who fell into a coma after being detained by the morality police on the grounds that she allegedly did not obey the hijab rules, lost her life.

According to police, Amini was hospitalized “urgently” at the moral police office in Tehran on September 13 for suddenly suffering from a “heart condition”.

State television confirmed the news of Amini’s death, but did not provide details.
