Which electric cars will come to Turkey in 2023?

In the second part of our dossier, which we started on electric vehicles, we will examine which electric cars will be offered for sale in Turkey in 2023.

According to the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) data, the number of electric cars sold in Turkey exploded by 252 percent in 2022, reaching 7,733 units for the first time, achieving a market share of over 1 percent and 1.3 percent of the market. built his reputation.

However, the Turkish Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Association (TEHAD) announced that electric cars will reach a higher sales figure in 2022.

So much so that Skywell, one of the brands we mentioned in the first part of our file, is not a member of ODMD, so the cars sold by the company are not reflected in the sales figures announced by the association.

Considering that Skywell has reached a sales figure of 1,150 units in 2022 with the ET5 model, it is seen that the sales of electric cars approached 9 thousand units last year and the market share was at the level of 1.5 percent.

The electric car will hit the road with 255 horsepower and 290 horsepower.

The range value of the car, which offers 415 Nm of torque in both versions, varies between 420 and 540 kilometers.

One of the biggest surprises of this year will probably be the US manufacturer Tesla.

Tesla, which started to produce for Europe with the factory it opened in Germany, has a possibility to enter Turkey in 2023.

Let’s also mention that Tesla, which established a company in Turkey in 2022, started to place its own charging stations on highways. It is more likely that Tesla will present Model 3 and Model Y cars to Turkish consumers in the first place.

Another US automotive manufacturer, Jeep, is making plans to bring the electric SUV model Avenger to Turkey with Europe.

Korean manufacturer Hyundai is among the brands that entered the electric car competition early.

While the Korean manufacturer has been bringing the electric version of Kona to consumers for a while, it will bring the new model of the electric car brand Ioniq, named ‘6’, to Turkey in 2023.

The first model of Ioniq, the 5, was put on sale in Turkey in the second half of 2022.

In the all-wheel drive version, the car’s power is announced as 150 kW, while its range is stated as 470 kilometers.

Considering that Subaru brought the Solterra model to Turkey in 2022, it can be said that the probability of the bZ4X coming to Turkey in 2023 is quite strong.
