WALL – The US-based Politico magazine wrote the demands addressed to world leaders who will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II after her death. Accordingly, it was stated that the leaders were asked to come by commercial flights, not private jets, and they would be taken to the ceremony by bus. According to the news in Politico, the heads of state and their spouses, who will come to the capital London to attend the ceremony to be held in Westminster Abbey on September 19, were requested to come by commercial flights. It was reported that they would also be prohibited from using helicopters.
THEY CANNOT USE THEIR OWN VEHICLES
It was stated that the leaders who will attend the ceremony will not be able to use their own vehicles and will be taken to Westminster Abbey by buses. It was noted that due to the space limit, only heads of state and their spouses will be invited. According to Politico, the document sent to embassies on Saturday night stated that “due to limited space at the funeral and related events, no other members of the main guest’s family, staff or entourage will be admitted.”
