The press launch of the agreement between the parties was held in a hotel in Istanbul. To launch; Saran Group Chairman of the Board Sadettin Saran, Euroleague President Dejan Bodiroga and Euroleague CEO Marshall Glickman attended.
Expressing that they have contributed to Turkish sports for 32 years, Sadettin Saran said, “We are happy to bring Euroleague together with the audience. We wish success to Fenerbahçe Beko and Anadolu Efes, who make our country proud.”

Stating that they broadcast in other sports branches besides the Euroleague and that they will continue to grow, Sadettin Saran said, “We have set our hearts on these works both in Turkey and abroad. We will continue to grow. I’m not just saying this on the basis of subscribers, it’s also in terms of content. We will continue to grow both at home and abroad.”

Expressing that Turkey is very important to them, Euroleague CEO Marshall Glickman said, “I am here for the first time as CEO. Turkey is one of the most important markets. We are very happy with the agreement with Saran Group. Viewership rates in Turkey showed a tremendous increase. There is an increase of 35 percent. Saran Group is an ideal partner for us. One of the most important issues for us here is digital platforms. In this way, it is much more important to strengthen the infrastructure by reaching more people, especially young people.”

When asked whether to increase team revenues in the Euroleague, Glickman said, “There is no magic wand. There are things we’re trying to do with President Bodiroga. We will continue to work to increase our value, but this requires time.”
