Dendias stated that his reason for being in Yerevan was in solidarity with the government and people of Armenia and stated that his “attitudes on Nagorno-Karabakh” have not changed.

“We salute the courage of (Armenia) Prime Minister (Nikol) Pashinyan, who has proposed a new approach to a new future in this region,” Dendias said. said.​​

Armenian Foreign Minister Mirzoyan also stated that “the issues confirm their commitment to establish peace and stability in the region through peaceful negotiations”.

Thanking Greece and the Greek government for their continuous support to Armenia and the Armenian people, Mirzoyan stated that the effective partnership between Armenia-Greece-Greek Cypriot Administration (GCA) is important.

On the other hand, Dendias shared on his Twitter account that he was received by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to discuss the developments in the Caucasus.

According to the news of Armenpress, Pashinyan noted that this visit will give a new impetus to the bilateral partnership, and the discussions in the tripartite (Armenia-Greece-Greek Cyprus) format will continue.

Dendias also stated that they are determined to take the bilateral partnership to a new level.
