The Ukrainian army is reported to have breached Russian positions around the Dnieper River, northeast of the Russian-occupied city of Kherson.

Vladimir Saldo, the regional leader appointed by the Russians in Herson, stated that the Ukrainian army advanced about 30 km and came near the city of Dudchany.

Kherson is located in southern Ukraine, north of Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said: “We have liberated places in several regions, fierce fighting continues in many places.” However, Zelensky did not reveal the names of these regions.
Reuters wrote that the Ukrainian army targeted the supply line of approximately 25,000 Russian soldiers west of the Dnieper River.
It is stated that the Antonivsky Bridge, which is of vital importance for the Russians, in the northwest of Herson, was largely destroyed by the Ukrainian army.

In the east, it is stated that Ukrainian soldiers are making progress in some areas in Luhansk, which is under Russian occupation. News from the region indicates that the Ukrainian army is advancing towards the cities of Kremenna and Svatove.
On Saturday, the Ukrainian army besieged the city of Lyman, and then Russia announced that it had withdrawn its soldiers from there. Lyman, located on the Luhansk border, was the logistics center of the Russians in the region.
Russia announced that it officially annexed the Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions it occupied in Ukraine last week.
However, Russia, which had difficulties militarily in Ukraine, declared mobilization for this reason last week.
