In the tweets shared by the son of the Ugandan President, he proposed to Giorgia Meloni, who is preparing to become the new prime minister of Italy, in exchange for 100 cows. Muhuzi Kaibinrugaba wrote that he had commissioned his friend, Ugandan Ambassador to Italy, mali Matsanti, to arrange the marriage.
“I guess I should start with Rome but how do I get 100 cows through customs,” Kainerugaba wrote in another tweet.
In a tweet that he later quickly deleted, Kainerugaba threatened to invade Italy.
Ugandan President on the tweets spread in Italy and reacted in Uganda Yoweri Museveni, dismissed his son.
The first problematic tweets of Museveni’s son were not about Meloni.
Kainerugaba previously expressed his support for the Tigrey separatist groups in Ethiopia, while in another tweet he said that all Africans are defending Russia in the war in Ukraine.
