The project of squeezing Azerbaijan and Turkey in the same grip!

The recent conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia brought along a new diplomatic war. The fact that the conflicts, this time overflowing from the Karabakh area and taking place on the border of the two countries, are examined within the framework of direct conflicts between the states.

The visit of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Pelosi to Armenia further complicated the situation. Because Armenia is within the Eurasian Economic Union, the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Shanghai… It has both bases and military alliance agreements with Russia. In terms of armament, 95 percent depends on Russia. Despite this, the US representative can suddenly take a breath in Yerevan to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia!

Turkey, on the other hand, is accused of collaborating with Russia and is facing an arms embargo!

It doesn’t end there, however, while Azerbaijan is one of the countries that the US-EU front, which is fighting in Ukraine nowadays, is knocking on its door with gas cuts, not a word is heard about the lands of the same Azerbaijan that have been usurped for years. It sends most of its gas exports from the Caspian and via Georgia to Turkey and Southern Europe. In 2020, 65 percent of Azerbaijan’s total exported oil was made to European countries.

It is seen that the structure centered in Hankent (Nagorno-Karabakh) turned these conflicts, which went beyond the border line, into a counter-propaganda tool in order to protect this place.

The so-called president of this place, Harutyunyan, said, “Due to Russia’s preoccupation in Ukraine, the guarantees of the Russian peacekeepers have been weakened somewhat and Azerbaijan is taking advantage of it. Russian peacekeepers must remain here indefinitely.” said. In other words, the extension of the 5-year period means that the tripartite agreement is not a final agreement, but rather a deadlock.

On the other hand, one of the remarkable developments is that the Greek and Southern Cyprus bloc started to accuse Azerbaijan and Turkey of similar content and allegations.

Referring to President Erdogan’s words about Greece at the victory parade in Baku on December 10, 2020 and on August 30, the so-called genocide lies are repeated, and the allegations that Azerbaijan attacked the territory of Armenia are strongly voiced.

Meanwhile, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly yesterday. Mirzoyan thanked the Cypriot side for their reaction on the side of Armenia. During the meeting, they agreed to further expand and raise the Armenia-Greece-South Cyprus talks to a new level.

In the article by Konstantinos Grivas, published in the Greek City Times, the statements that this relationship between Armenia and Greece-South Cyprus will continue in a more comprehensive way draw attention: “Armenia should not be allowed to be alone. It will be Cyprus’ turn. Therefore, the defense of Greece starts from Armenia. Greek diplomacy should use every opportunity to support Armenia.”

One of the most important issues in the article is to see Turkey’s potential in the Turkish World as a threat and to emphasize that the Turkey-Azerbaijan subsystem will be at the center of this integration. So much so that, according to them, Turkey and Azerbaijan want Armenia to be disintegrated in order to achieve this unity.

It is understood that Turkey-Azerbaijan theses and targets are targeted as a whole, and it is desired to protect the Zangezur Corridor and the center of Hankent with the support of not only Russia but also the USA and some western countries.

In this context, Turkey and Azerbaijan should be very careful, stay calm against provocations and accelerate an alliance in which other countries in the region will be at the table.
