Unable to obtain a National Club License Spor Toto 1st League representative AltaiIn , a flash statement was made from the board of directors about the debts of the club.

Stating that the club was examined according to 52 criteria in terms of sports, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, legal and financial aspects for the National Club License, the black and white people stated that they fulfilled the criteria other than the financial criteria. According to the financial criteria, it was stated that the tax office and SGK debts, overdue debts to football clubs, overdue football players notified to FIFA and TFF, and due to technical-administrative staff debts were penalized.


Altay management said, “Especially regarding foreign clubs and football players, the total of our unfulfilled financial obligations for the years 2019-2021 and reported to FIFA is approximately 5 million Euros. Due to the non-fulfillment of the obligations, this total has exceeded 10 million Euros for 2022, and our club has suffered a serious loss of testimonial income.

TFF Club Licensing Board made the final evaluations within the scope of the National Club Licensing System; examined the applications made by the clubs in the top 3 leagues, Spor Toto Super League, Spor Toto 1st League and TFF 2nd League, according to sportive, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, legal and financial criteria.

As a result of the examinations, the board could not complete its deficiencies within the given time; Yukatel Kayserispor from Spor Toto Super League, Altaş Denizlispor, Altay, Erzurumspor FK and Yeni Malatyaspor from Spor Toto 1st League, Bayburt Special Administration Spor from TFF 2nd League, Baynet İnşaat Balıkesirspor, Menemen Football Club, Serik Belediyespor and Somaspor clubs were deducted 3 points.
