The new indictment in Manhattan comes more than two years after Bannon and three others were arrested on federal charges that they defrauded donors who had contributed millions of dollars to build a wall along the US-Mexico border.

WHO IS STEVE BANNON?
Born in 1953, Steve Bannon served in the US Navy for 7 years from the late 1970s. In the following years, Bannon worked as an investment consultant, research project manager, and Hollywood producer.
Bannon, who manages the far-right Breitbart News website he founded in 2007, became a world-renowned face when he became the chief executive in the last months of Trump’s election campaign.
Notably, Bannon was fired in the summer of 2017 by serving as the President’s chief strategist and chief adviser for seven months during the first phase of the Trump administration.
Bannon was one of the figures behind some of Trump’s policies that have shifted to racism and xenophobia, such as imposing a travel ban on countries with Muslim populations.

BANNON’S ACCEPTANCE OF INFRINGEMENT OF CONGRESS
