Two security announcements from the tech giant on Wednesday reveal that hackers are in danger of exploiting this vulnerability and taking complete control of devices.

iPhone 6S and all later iPhone models from system vulnerability; iPads of the 5th generation and later; all iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 models; and all Mac computers running macOS Monterey may be affected.
Speaking to the Guardian, Rachel Tobac, CEO of security company SocialProof Security, said the vulnerability meant that hackers could take all administrative access to these devices and thus act as the owner of the device.

Tobac, especially those who are in front of the public, such as activists and journalists “stating that it may be the target of sophisticated, state-level espionage”underlined that the system update should be done quickly.
Apple did not share the information on how many users were affected by the system vulnerability.
Companies that develop commercial espionage programs, such as the Israeli NSO Group, are known to exploit such system vulnerabilities.
