State “confidential documents” dating back to his vice presidency were found in the former personal office of US President Joe Biden.
Richard Sauber, one of Biden’s advisers, noted that Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center, which he founded, had “a small number of documents containing classified information” left over from his tenure as vice president from 2009 to 2017.
Sauber said the documents were found in a “locked cupboard” on November 2, 2022. As soon as the documents were found, Biden’s personal lawyers contacted the White House and state national archives agencies.
White House officials announced that the Department of Justice is examining the documents in question.
Accused TRUMP of irresponsibility
On the other hand, old USA Republican Party members reacted to the release of similarly confidential documents from Biden’s office, which criticized the confidential documents released from President Donald Trump’s home in Florida.
Speaking to CNN television, Republican politician James Comer said that it was ironic that secret documents came out of Biden’s personal office and used the following statements:
“President Biden was very critical of (former) President Trump’s mistakenly taking classified documents to his residence or elsewhere, and now it looks like he may have done the same.”
“How could someone be so irresponsible?” had commented.
