New details emerge about Tom Cruise’s affiliation with ‘Scientology cult’

A newly released book has revealed new details about famous actor Tom Cruise’s relationship with the Scientology cult.

Mike Rinder, a former senior executive of the sect, wrote A Billion Years: My Escape From a Life in the Highest Ranks of Scientologyrevealed what they did to not lose Cruise, one of the most recognizable members of the Church of Scientology.

According to the news in Independent Turkish; Rinder, who entered Scientology as a child, has come to the fore in recent years with his allegations about the cult he broke up with in 2007 when he was 52 years old.

“TO SATISFY THE CRUISE…”

In the final book, Rinder had this to say about the cult’s relationship with Cruise:

“They knew no bounds in trying to please the Cruise.”

The book alleged that the Church of Scientology helped Cruise divorce his then-wife and marry Nicole Kidman in the 1990s.

Rinder wrote that Cruise fell in love with Kidman during the filming of Days of Thunder, but that’s where the cult stepped in because his marriage to Mimi Rogers was still ongoing at the time:

“Church leader David Cavige saw this as an opportunity to prove his strength in making Tom’s wishes come true. He persuaded Rogers to divorce.”

THEY TRIED TO JOIN THEM FIRST AND THEN SEPARATE IT

On the other hand, the sect, which initially brought Cruise back to the woman he loved, tried to break the relationship between the couple when they realized that Kidman had alienated the famous actor from Scientology in the following years.

According to Rinder, Kidman, who joined the cult with Cruise, has never been a fanatical member. In the book, it was suggested that the church tapped Kidman’s phones to find evidence that could lead to the couple’s divorce.

Cruise and Kidman divorced in 2001, although it is not known whether the reasons for the separation were the efforts of the church.

THEY HAVE BUILT A FOOTBALL FIELD FOR CRUISE

Rinder also mentioned that big moves were made so that Cruise could attract other celebrities to the church.

Accordingly, a huge football field was built so that Cruise could impress one of the famous football players of that time, David Beckham. But these efforts did not work, and Beckham was never a member of the church.
