National films to compete in the Golden Orange have been announced

Hosted by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the 59th edition will be held between 1-8 October. Antalya The 10 films that will compete in the National Feature Film Competition at the Golden Orange Film Festival have been announced.

46 productions applied for the National Feature Film Competition this year. The 10 films determined by the selection committee consisting of Sevin Okyay, Mehmet Açar and Muammer Brav will meet with moviegoers in Antalya for the first time in Turkey.

‘Mirror Mirror’ directed by Belmin Söylemez; ‘A Hope’ directed by Ümit Köreken; ‘Blank’ directed by Onur Ünlü; ‘Gisde O Gidis’, co-directed by Burak Cevik, Sofia Bohdanowicz and Blake Williams; ‘Hara’ directed by Atalay Taşdiken; ‘Iguana Tokyo’ directed by Kaan Müjdeci; ‘Snow and the Bear’ directed by Selcen Ergun; ‘Dark Night’ directed by Özcan Alper; The films “Arid Days” directed by Emin Alper and “LCV (Please Answer)” directed by İsmet Kurtuluş and Kaan Arıcı will experience the excitement of the competition.

The films ‘Mirror Mirror’, ‘Empty’, ‘Hara’, ‘Iguana Tokyo’, ‘Dark Night’ and ‘LCV (Please Answer)’ will be screened in Antalya for the first time in the world. A total of 840 thousand TL will be awarded in 14 categories of this competition.

The 59th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, chaired by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Insect; Cansel Tuncer is the administrative director, Ahmet Boyacıoğlu is the director, Başak Emre is the art director, and Armağan Lale and Pınar Evrenosoğlu are the directors of the Antalya Film Forum.
