It has been observed that the elderly dependency ratio, which expresses the number of elderly people per 100 people of working age, has increased continuously in 5 years. This rate, which was 12.6 percent in 2017, was calculated as 12.9 percent in 2018, 13.4 percent in 2019, 14.1 percent in 2020 and 14.3 percent in 2021.
